Harrogate CVS is a registered charity which offers support, information and advice to all local voluntary organisations and community groups, from large established charities to small self-help groups.

 

We also provide a signposting service giving information about local services and organise conferences and seminars to raise awareness on issues of interest to local people.

 

Funding Advice and development support is provided to local voluntary and community groups. We consult with local groups and individuals to identify gaps in services and support the development of new initiatives. We liaise with voluntary and statutory agencies to ensure the voice of the voluntary sector is heard in the planning and provision of services

 

The CVS operates Harrogate Volunteer Centre which has information on many volunteering opportunities and offers advice and support to organisations involving volunteers in their work.
