Looking Well, part of Pioneer Projects (Celebratory Arts) Ltd is an arts-led Healthy Living Centre. The centre celebrates the art of living offering opportunities to develop skills in the arts of cooking, gardening and marking significant life events as well as visual arts, theatre, music, dance and writing. Village Well aims to improve physical and mental wellbeing within the local community to address the issues of stress in this rural part of Craven. It does this by providing a range of services such as group counselling, complementary therapies and drop in sessions. The centre is used for a variety of reasons, it provides a library service and internet access, a weekly soup group, arts and crafts group and drop in sessions.
